The party snack dance is an AI video trend where someone dances through a crowded party hall with a snack in hand, takes a bite, stares straight into the camera while chewing and dances back to the guests. It is a remix of the Dime Dime Baby quinceañera clip, and the name "party snack dance" started showing up in CapCut template captions on October 28, 2026. People now make it with their own photo and swap the original sweet bread for tacos, churros, pizza and other party food.
What is the party snack dance?
It is the same short party clip remade again and again, with a new person and sometimes a new snack each time. The setting never changes: a banquet hall with soft colored lights, round tables, flower centerpieces and a dance floor full of guests in party clothes.
What happens in the clip
- The dancer moves toward the camera through the crowd, snack already in hand.
- Without missing a beat, he lifts the snack and takes a bite.
- He chews and looks right into the lens, completely serious, for just a second too long.
- He turns and dances back onto the floor with the other guests.
The snack is the punchline. The dance is loose and happy, but the bite and the stare are dead serious, and that contrast is what people replay.
Is it the same as the Dime Dime Baby trend?
Yes. The party snack dance is the Dime Dime Baby trend under a new name. The original clip was filmed at a Mexican quinceañera, and the snack in it is a concha, a sweet bread with a shell pattern on top. For the song, the meaning of "dime dime baby" and the story of the original guest, read our Dime Dime Baby trend guide.
Where did the party snack dance name come from?
From "BbY WOW guy" to "party snack dance"
Before the new name, remakes were captioned "bby wow guy dancing and eating" or "guy dancing and eating AI trend." One of those posts, from October 23, 2026, had about 739,400 views by November 1.
The first party snack dance posts
The earliest post we found tagged #Partysnackdance went up on October 28, 2026, at 00:13 UTC and used a CapCut template. Later that day, tutorial accounts began describing it as "a playful party snack dance" where the character "shows off their favorite party snacks with energetic dance moves." On October 30, short template posts captioned just "Party snack dance" appeared as well, some of them tagged with British TV presenters and streamers.
What else is the party snack dance called?
The same clip travels under a lot of names. If you searched any of these, you were looking for the same trend:
| Name | Where you see it |
|---|---|
| Party snack dance / party snack trend | CapCut template posts from late October 2026, #partysnackdance |
| Dime Dime Baby trend | The most common name for the original clip |
| Baby wow trend / BbY WOW trend | Named after the song most remakes use |
| Guy dancing and eating | Captions on AI remakes, also "bby wow guy dancing and eating" |
| Guy dancing eating bread | Searches about the original concha clip |
| Guy dancing at a quince | Searches that remember the party, not the song |
| Video del chico bailando y comiendo | Spanish captions, "the video of the guy dancing and eating" |
| Dancing with snack AI | Searches for AI versions with a different snack |
Party snack dance in Spanish
Spanish captions call it "video del chico bailando y comiendo," the video of the guy dancing and eating, and many also mention the quinceañera.
Which snacks can you use in a party snack dance?
The original snack
In the original clip it is a concha. If you want your remake to read as the real thing, keep the concha.
Other party snacks
Our party snack dance video maker lets you pick the snack under your photo:
- Concha (the original)
- Taco
- Churro
- Donut
- Pizza slice
- Burger
- Chicken drumstick
Whatever you pick, you lift it, take the bite and lower it at the same moments as in the original clip. The snack does not change the price.
Which snack works best?
We made our own test with a chicken drumstick, and the bite was easy to see even with the crowd behind him. Snacks with a strong shape are easy to spot in a wide party shot. Pick the one that fits the joke: a taco for taco night, pizza for a pizza party or a donut for the office.
How do you make a party snack dance AI video?
You do not need to dance, film anything or open a CapCut template. Everything happens from one photo.
Upload one photo
Use a sharp full body photo of one person facing the camera, with the shoes in the frame and the face evenly lit. You wear the outfit from your photo in the video. If the photo shows only part of it, the rest is made to match.
Pick your snack and create
Choose a snack, tick the consent box and press Create video. The banquet hall, the guests and the camera stay the same. Only the dancer and the snack change.
Download and post
You get a 12 second vertical MP4 with the original audio of the clip. It is usually ready in 10 to 20 minutes and stays in My Videos for 48 hours.
In our test, our character in a burgundy suit and a tall black quiff danced in with a chicken drumstick, took the bite right on the beat and kept the suit, the hair and the mustache through the whole clip.
Can you put celebrities in the party snack dance?
Plenty of TikTok versions do, but those come from ready made CapCut templates where the faces are already in place. On EAST.IM you can only use your own photo or a photo of someone who agreed to be in the video. Strangers, children and public figures are not allowed.
Can you use a pet or a cartoon?
A pet or a cartoon photo can be uploaded, but it may not follow the human dance moves well and the result can look strange. Photos of people work best.
Is the party snack dance the same as other snack dance trends?
No. "Snack dance" brings up several unrelated things on TikTok and Google.
The "eat you like a snack" dance
This is a school and best friends dance trend set to a song lyric about eating someone "like a snack." Nobody eats anything, and there is no party hall.
The fruit snack dance challenge
A dance challenge started by a small snack business. It is a real person dance, not an AI party clip.
AI dancing food videos
AI clips of dancing strawberries, fruit babies or a mozzarella stick doing a viral dance are their own genre. In the party snack dance a person holds the snack and eats it. The food does not dance.
Party snack ideas
Type "party snack dance" into Google and the suggestions are mostly snack ideas for a dance party. Those are recipes. This guide is about the video trend.
What song is used in the party snack dance?
Most Dime Dime Baby remakes use "BbY WOW" by KAROL G with Judeline and rusowsky. The party snack dance template posts usually run on an "original sound" uploaded by the template maker. Our video keeps the original audio of the clip, so you do not need to add a sound.
How much does a party snack dance AI video cost?
Each video costs 800 credits, and the price is shown on the Create video button. You need to sign in. Video tools are open to subscribers and credit pack buyers, and free monthly credits cannot be used for video. If a video fails, the credits go back automatically.
Is there a free party snack dance AI?
CapCut templates are the closest thing to free, because the app fills a fixed clip with your photo. Tools that build a new video around your own photo and outfit charge per video, since each one takes real computing time.
Can you post your party snack dance on TikTok?
Yes, as a personal post. Download the MP4 within 48 hours and turn on the AI label when you post. Do not sell the clip or use it in ads. EAST.IM is not linked to KAROL G, TikTok, CapCut or anyone shown in the versions above.
